Classic Spaghetti Carbonara

Yield: 2 Servings

Cook Time: 10 mins


  1. Boil pasta over a medium heat for 10 minutes (stir in the first few minutes to stop sticking together later)

  2. Whisk eggs together with grated Parmesan (or vegetarian hard cheese) in a bowl, add a little salt and pepper

  3. Heat a wide-based pan over a medium to low heat with a small drizzle of oil. Cut bacon in 1cm lardons. Chop garlic finely.

  4. Once pan is hot, add lardons to the pan and cook for 4 minutes, then add chopped garlic and cook until bacon starts to brown.

  5. Once bacon is cooked, add the egg mixture and the drained pasta to the pan - add a little water if mixture is too thick.

  6. Serve with a little extra cracked pepper to taste

  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 120grs Parmiggiano Cheese
  • 200grs Spaghetti
